Shifa Medical Group began its journey in Bahrain in 2018, with a simple purpose: to provide healthcare that combines professional medical services with genuine care for every patient.
Our journey started with Shifa Darkulaib Dental Center in 2018. Over the years, Shifa expanded its healthcare services and facilities, growing from a dental center into a broader healthcare group serving the community.

Founder & Chairman
Aboobacker Kiliyanni, widely known as Abutty, founded Shifa with a vision of building a healthcare organization where patient satisfaction is at the center of every service.
His journey reflects a commitment to entrepreneurship, healthcare, and continuous learning. After establishing Shifa, he pursued his PGDM MBA at The B School, Dubai, further strengthening his knowledge in business management and leadership.
Under his leadership, Shifa has continued to develop its healthcare services with a focus on quality, patient trust, and long-term growth.

2018
Shifa Darkulaib Dental Center
Our healthcare journey began with the opening of our first dental center.
2019
Shifa Budaiya Dental Center
Expanded our dental services to another community.
2020
Shifa Medical Group Established
Shifa Medical Group was formally launched as the organization expanded beyond dental care — including Shifa Darkulaib Medical Center & Pharmacy.
2021
Budaiya Medical Centre & Riffa Branch
Continued expansion of our medical services and extended Shifa's presence to Riffa.
2022
Manama Branch & Isa Town Dental Center
Expanded our healthcare presence into Manama and further strengthened our dental services.
2023
Business Development & Brand Expansion
Continued development of the Shifa brand and future healthcare opportunities.

Shifa Galali Dental Center
Opened a new dental center in Galali, continuing our commitment to accessible dental care.
